Today is World AIDS Day, which brings a lot of memories for me. It was my grandparents' wedding anniversary, which we always celebrated with a special lunch as the opening event to a month full of festivities: my mom's and my birthdays, Christmas, and the New Year.
To distract myself from the sadness, I came back here to catch up with a couple of posts I wrote but had not yet had time to put online: our weekend in Florence and my son's birthday party. Enjoy!
